Wholistic Healing: Nutrition, Herbal Medicine & Personal Growth

Updated: Jan 15

Welcome to my blog! 🌼

"All disease begins in the gut" Hippocrates

Hi, I'm Jeanie. I'm a naturopath, a wife and a homeschooling mum. I'm passionate about gut health because I've witnessed and experienced some pretty miraculous results in myself, my family and my clients, as a result of healing the gut.

In my 20+ years as a naturopath I've tried lots of different nutritional approaches including: vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, paleo, autoimmune paleo (AIP), keto and carnivore. And what I believe is the most important nutritional advice I can offer, is to EAT WHOLE FOODS. By that I mean single ingredient foods that generally don't come in a packet. You know like: fruit, eggs, meat, butter ... you get the idea!

Teaching Kids about Healing Herbs

I am also a qualified Junior Herbalist Club Leader. I teach a monthly class for kids (aged 7-12) about herbal medicine. The kids learn about the medicinal uses for a new herb each month and we make something out of that herb, that they can take home. It is very practical and so much fun! Personal Growth

My other passion is Personal Development - the ongoing journey of growing, learning and evolving towards one's full potential. I love people and I want to make a difference in the world while also having fun! I've completed and absolutely loved several courses offered by Landmark. And I run an online business in partnership with another global company who provide award-winning personal development programs. For more info on that visit

Thanks for showing an interest in who I am and what I offer. I will add to this blog with updates and things I want to share. Feel free to check in regularly to see what's new. 😊
